ADRA Wantirna
I am more than happy to provide a letter of support and gratitude to you and your team for all the lovely food you provide to our families.
Your small batch healthy, balanced, fresh meals are a real treat for our clients. We have had many compliments made regarding your meals and even clients asking if we have any more of certain meals. They all say do you have anything from Little Things this week?
Two thirds of our clients are domestic violence victims and now single mums with no respite from childcare as most have been moved into the area for safety but don’t know anyone or have any family support. They are dealing with their own traumas and fear as well as trying to keep a happy face on for their children who are also traumatised and trying to get use to new school, new friends, etc.
Your meals have been a true blessing. Tasty meals that kids love too. Meaning that if Mum is having a bad day a yummy, nutritious meal is only a few minutes away. Also the extra treats you provide such as cakes, muffins and sweet slices are really very gratefully received.
We also have quite a lot of homeless clients who are in emergency accommodation and staying in motel rooms so they only way they can prepare meals is to microwave food. They can’t afford to buy frozen meals from Supermarkets & are so grateful to receive your meals as they are far nicer than any frozen meals that they could buy. Honestly they get by on 2 minute noodles & canned food mostly. They feel like your meals are restaurant quality in comparison to what they usually eat. I have one mum and her 4 children (ages 1y.o to 9 y.o) who are all staying in a motel and she said the first time she received some of your meals was the first time in a long time that her and the kids were having a proper meal since they became homeless 6 months ago. She also said she sent some of the slice they received to school with her two school age children and they were so proud to have a homemade slice for play lunch. Often they don’t have anything as the money doesn’t stretch to include treats.
Our partnership with you since October last year and your faithfulness in providing meals every week for our clients is making a huge difference in our clients lives. Your food is not only meeting the bodies need for nutrition, it’s also meeting the hearts need for normality and comfort.
I hope we get to continue our partnership for many years to come and I also hope that any boards or committees who are considering any grants or funding you are applying for will look very favourably on your application as you are touching people’s lives & helping to make their situation better every week with all that you are doing.

Ronald McDonald House
I would like to acknowledge the services of “It’s the Little things” and the meals they generously donate to our house each & every week. The meals are a blessing to our families, who quite often arrive at the house with the clothes on their back and nothing else.
The last thing they are thinking about at the time of arrival is what they are going to eat for dinner.
We receive a variety of fresh & frozen meals each week which our families greatly appreciate.
Without this service we would be at a loss and an expense we couldn’t possibly afford.
Thanking you in advance
House Manager Kylie Neve, Ronald McDonald House Charities Victoria and Tasmania (Fitzroy)

BANSIC Food Hub
I am writing on behalf of the Banyule Support and Information Centre (BANSIC) in support of It’s The Little Things food relief programme.
BANSIC assists individuals and families with emergency food relief and material aid, back to school support, utility debt assistance, advocacy, counselling plus support and information services.
BANSIC is based in a low socio-economic area and works with a steady stream of clients who are experiencing severe financial stress, particularly regarding food relief. The pre-prepared meals provided by It’s The Little Things provide invaluable food relief to families and individuals across the area we service.
Our support of It’s The Little Things is based on our great experience working with Jane Stewart. The group also has a strong, positive local reputation.

Stairway Church
Stairway Church, Whitehorse has had the pleasure of being associated with Jane from It’s the Little Things for approximately seven months to date and received donations of in excess of five hundred meals during this time.
Our connection was made during the COVID Pandemic when we were made aware of the incredible work Jane does in preparing meals for NFP and charitable organisations. Shortly thereafter, we became one of the very fortunate recipients of It’s the Little Things generosity and began to receive regular donations of beautifully prepared and nutritious individual servings of frozen meals for us to use within our food relief program.
